Arnette Choe has been drawing and painting for as long as he can remember, and sold his artwork at the age of seventeen. He begun studies from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York as a fine art major and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Fashion Institute of Technology. He also developed his unique style of portrait painting from the Art Student League where the all time American loved artist, Norman Rockwell, studied in his early years to form his art foundations. After completing his studies in Illustration major from F.I.T., Recruited by the Walt Disney Feature Animation as a member of top 33 artist selected from all the Art colleges between US and Canada. He successfully completed the intensive animation training program as a background artist, but he decide to come back to portrait art which always has been his favorite subject. He believes painting portraits is how he began as an artist.
"Portrait painting remains a first love due to a life long desire to gain insight into the human spirit .Portrait artists are ever inquiring students of life, observing what creates a look, posture the feelings, the spirit of the subject."
Now, painting is a full-time profession for Arnette and his portraits hang in private collections around the world. Painting for a living is a dream come true, and one for which he is immensely grateful. All he wanted to be is a truly devoted artist and to draw and paint portraits and other art works and fined his own way in life.

People always have been a my favorite subject matter for my original art work. I especially love the challenge of capturing each ones unique features and personality in a custom portrait . I primarily focus my commissioned art on children where I planing to publish in book form. Oil paintings are done on stretched archival canvas and illustration board. Each custom portrait is ready to be framed to last for generations."
